JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Store Driver to start working ASAP. Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited requires the services of reputable Store Driver. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12 / Matric
- Must have Valid Driver License.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- English – Read, write and speak well. Oral Communication, Listening and Document Use
- Must be trustworthy an honest.
- Time Management.
- Must be self-motivated and deadline drive.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To safely transport products to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous
- All the cash and product receipts must be given to the cashier before the close of business
- The correct products must be delivered to the correct customer within the specified time
- Fridge line deliveries must be prioritized and transported using cooler boxes and cold packs
- To use the shortest and most efficient route to the customer and back to the Store
- To return back to the store immediately after a delivery
- After completion of deliveries, the vehicle must be repacked to prevent boxes from falling and damaging the stock or vehicle
- Be fully accountable for all damages and losses throughout the delivery process
- To provide special care when delivering fragile and hazardous products
- To comply with minimum standards of efficiency and accuracy, in order to meet The Local Choice Corporate Stores requirements
- To follow delivery/ pickup instructions from management.
