JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
We are urgently looking for the qualified Assistant Cleaning Manager to start working ASAP.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12/Matric
- Must have relevant qualification related to Management
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook (5 years).
- Must have strong knowledge of health & safety standards.
- Must have experience using the Opera hotel management system
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To assist with staff rostering and daily task allocations.
- To train, mentor, and supervise room attendants.
- To ensure all safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards are followed.
- To conduct pre-shift briefings and manage attendance.
- To inspect rooms and public areas to maintain hotel standards.
- To manage stock, supplies, and report maintenance issues.
- To handle emails, reports, and operate systems such as Opera.
- To maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times.
- To build and maintain positive client and guest relationships
