JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Mechanic to start working ASAP. VKB Group requires the services of reputable Mechanic. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12 or NQF4
- Must have completed N2 – Tractor Mechanic
- Must have at least 3 to 5years’ experience as a mechanic.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be thorough, precise and accurate
- Constantly adding value to the current functions of the position
- Must have clear Criminal Record
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To compile quotations according to customer needs and specifications
- To service, repair and overhaul the mechanical parts of agricultural equipment and vehicles
- To ensure that all work sheets for services rendered, are done according to VKB’s policies and procedures
- To comply with all Health and Safety standards
- To build long-term relationships with customers and suppliers
- Correctly complete all guarantee claims and claims information
- To train and mentor all relevant personnel regarding VKB’s policies and procedures
- Cross-market all relevant products and promotions
- Continuous liaison with internal departments, suppliers and clients
- Daily ADHOC duties as required.
