JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Millwright to start working ASAP. TWK Agri requires the services of reputable Millwright. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric / Grade 12
- Must be Qualified Millwright.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Must have knowledge of industrial grain handling equipment and processes
- Must have ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Must have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must have ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Must have ability to do mechanical fabrication if needed
- Must have willing to work overtime if needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- Installation of new grain handling equipment according to specifications
- Regular maintenance of handling equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshooting and repair of machinery breakdowns
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks to avoid costly downtime
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Following safety protocols and guidelines at all times according to OHS Act and company policies and procedures.
- To perform scheduled inspections with depot managers to identify each depot’s maintenance needs
- Material requirements planning.
