JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Multiskilled Operator to start working ASAP. Fraseralexander requires the services of reputable Multiskilled Operator. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have matric
- Must have valid MQA accredited (FEL, TLB, Excavator, ADT, Pipe Truck, Grader, and Water Truck).
- Must have minimum 2-3 years relevant work experience operating in an earthmoving environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have good communication skills (verbal & written).
- Must be safety oriented.
- Must be action oriented.
- Must have ability to operate independently.
- Planning & Problem-solving.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- Operation of FEL, TLB , Excavator, ADT, Pipe Truck, Grader and Water Truck to either load, dig, clean trenches or ditch slimes dam and maintenance of access.
- Adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the specific machine at all times.
- To maintain high housekeeping standards on the machine and surrounding work area.
- General inspections of the machine before and after the shift and complete inspection checklist.
- To comply with all safety rules and site regulations at all times.
- To complete pre-shift inspection of the machine at the beginning of every shift and report all faults and problems to the Supervisor.
- To inspect the equipment (machine) and the working area.
- To operate and maintain equipment as per OEM operator manual specifications.
- To check condition of the machine.
- Always ensure cleanliness of machine.
- To ensure lubrication as per OEM specifications.
- To maintain fuel levels in the machine.
- To assist maintenance personnel with tasks when required.
