JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Driver Gr 1 Forklift to start working ASAP. Sasol requires the services of reputable Driver Gr 1 Forklift. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12
- Must have Valid Driver’s license and a Forklift competency certificate.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have 1+ year experience in Explosives manufacturing
- Having experience working at the Water gel Plant will be an advantage
- Having SAP (PSD) knowledge will be an advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- Responsible for the loading and off-loading of items from truck or container as per delivery notes/bar-coding labels
- Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards
- Reports any defects on the Forklift
- To collect and Transport Raw Materials from the Warehouse to the Production Plants
- To collect Final Product from Production Plants and deliver to the Magazines
- To collect detonators from Caps Plant to the detonator Magazine
- General loading and off-loading of material from delivery trucks
- Recording of product delivered to the different magazine
- Moving and stacking of pallets
- To comply with all legal requirements
- Physical Labour (assisting with binning, issuing and preservation activities
- To carry out all tasks relevant to purpose of jobs as allocated by leader.
