JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Security Officer Supervisor to start working ASAP. The Free State Provincial Government requires the services of reputable Security Officer Supervisor. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have A grade 10 qualification.
- Must have completed basic Security Officer’s training course with at least two years’ relevant experience.
- Proof of registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have knowledge of access control procedures, measures for the control and movement of equipment and store content, prescribed security procedures, authority of a Security Officer and emergency procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To supervise the security functions performed by the Security Officers to ensure adherence to and implementation of Departmental security policies.
- To perform administrative functions.
- To monitor and maintain effective security systems.
- To provide support during investigations.
