Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Porter to start working ASAP. Department of Agriculture requires the services of reputable Porter. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Basic numeracy and literacy.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Appropriate experience in a healthcare environment.
- Willingness to work shifts and ability to report for duty at 6:30 (weekends included).
- Willingness to handle bodies (corpses).
- Must have ability to handle heavy objects.
- Must have willingness to work irregular hours as required.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have ability to adhere to safety standards, infection control, prevention of cross contamination.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To transport patients and corpses. Transport blood specimens from various
- wards to various laboratories and vice versa.
- To assist with loading of patients in and out of ambulances, vehicles, to & from, beds, trolleys, or wheelchairs and vice versa.
- Responsible for collecting and cleaning of wheelchairs, trolleys and blood hampers.
