Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Gardener to start working ASAP Rand Water requires the services of reputable Gardener. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have standard 10 and six months relevant horticultural experience.
- Must have physical ability to operate horticultural machinery such as a brush cutter and lawnmowers etc.
- Basic safety knowledge and ability to undertake the work.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have horticultural skills
- Must have basic safety knowledge
- Mowers and Brush cutters
- Must have basic plant knowledge
- Use of hand tools
- Communication (Verbal & Written)
- Customer orientated
- Safety conscious
- Team player
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To do general horticultural site maintenance and developments.
- Cleaning, sweeping, weeding, watering and planting of plants.
- Applications of fertilizers, compost and mulches.
- Loading and offloading of goods, machines, plants and debris etc.
- To use of horticultural machinery such as lawnmowers and brush cutters.
- To support with decorations and construction when required.
