JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Code 14 Driver to start working ASAP. Food Lover’s Market requires the services of reputable Code 14 Driver. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
- Must have Business Management or related qualification
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have Driver license : EC, PDP
- Must have experience as a Code 14 Driver
- Must have fluency in English
- Within 25km from job
- Must have clear criminal record
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To perform daily vehicle inspection and checks.
- To deliver goods to clients on time and to the correct destination.
- To tell supervisors if there’s something wrong with the vehicle.
- To load, unload, and secure items for safe transport.
- Check and verify delivery instructions.
- To get proof of delivery or ensure delivery is signed off.
- Drive safely, following all traffic laws and regulations.
- To maintain records of invoices, fuel slips and working hours.
- To follow vehicle safety rules and standards, ensuring that the tyre pressure matches the load.
- To maintain a valid driver’s license, and ensure the vehicle’s license disk is visible and valid.
- To ensure safe handling, storage and cleanliness of vehicle.
- To report any road incidents, accidents, and violations.
- To verify the quantity of loaded goods.
