JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Chief Financial Officer to start working ASAP. Hire Resolve requires the services of reputable Chief Financial Officer. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with Financial Services Provider (FSP) registration – Essential / Minimum
- Must have Certificate or Diploma in Treasury – Recommended / Desirable
- MBA in Business Administration – Recommended / Desirable
- Fitness for Duty – Essential / Minimum
- Must have Certified FAIS Professional – Recommended / Desirable
- Must have minimum 10–12 years in operational finance, with at least 5–8 years in senior financial management or executive finance roles – Essential / Minimum
- Must have proven track record in the insurance or financial services sector, ideally with exposure to regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance – Recommended / Desirable
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have strong understanding of the insurance and financial services industry, corporate governance, and regulatory environment
- Must have strategic thinker with excellent leadership, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Must have ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including Board members, regulators, and external partners
- Must have high level of financial acumen, analytical capability, and operational insight
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, aligned with long-term business objectives.
- To lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to support informed decision-making.
- To oversee risk management, regulatory compliance, and internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets.
- To provide strategic guidance on investment, capital allocation, and growth initiatives.
- To partner with the executive team to influence business strategy, operational efficiency, and organizational performance.
- To manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, investors, and key business partners.
- To drive a culture of high performance and accountability within the finance team and across the broader organization.
- To lead M&A activities, business case evaluations, and other strategic initiatives as required.
