JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Hotel Security Supervisor to start working ASAP. Fidelity Services Group requires the services of reputable Hotel Security Supervisor. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Valid Psira certificate
- Must have Grade 12
- Must have minimum of 3 years of experience in security in hospitality sector.
- Having previous supervisory experience preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Must have ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Must have knowledge of security systems and protocols.
- Must have ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To supervise and train security officers, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support.
- To monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
- To conduct regular patrols of the hotel grounds to identify and address security risks.
- To respond to emergency situations, such as fires, medical emergencies, and disturbances, and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
- To investigate security incidents and prepare incident reports for management review.
- To collaborate with other departments to ensure that security protocols are followed and guest safety is prioritized.
- To maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and employees.
- To stay up-to-date on security trends and regulations to implement best practices and procedures.
- To assist in the development and implementation of security training programs for employees.
- To perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
