JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Broker Manager to start working ASAP. TWK Agri requires the services of reputable Broker Manager. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12 / Matric
- Must have RE5 certificate
- Must have RE1 certificate
- FAIS accreditation as per the FSCA requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be literate
- Must have valid forklift license
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience in the short-term Insurance industry
- Must have 3 years’ experience in a managerial role
- Must have proven track record in broker management, business development and client relationship management (advantageous)
- Experience in managing a portfolio of clients and leading a team of brokers (advantageous)
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- In-depth knowledge of short-term insurance products, regulations and market trends
- To attention to detail
- To strong problem-solving skills
- Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
- Must have valid Driver’s License (Code 08)
- Must be willing to travel
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To lead, coach, and support a team of short-term insurance brokers
- To set performance targets, monitor results, and provide regular feedback
- To identify growth opportunities and drive new business development
- To collaborate on sales strategies to acquire and retain clients
- To build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers
- To oversee financial performance and commission structures
- To ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
- To provide product knowledge, training, and support to brokers
- Represent TWK Agri at industry events and networking opportunities
