Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Claims Administrator to start working ASAP. Humanatics (Pty) Ltd requires the services of reputable Claims Administrator. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have minimum of 5+ years within a financial services industry.
- Must have minimum of 5+ years in short term insurance claims experience (Personal and Commercial).
- Must have a thorough track record of being in a highly administrative role.
- Extremely client/service orientated.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong analytical skills.
- Must have very strong attention to detail.
- Must be resourceful and pro-active.
- Must have excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills i.e., Excel skills to be of an Intermediate level.
- Matric qualification is a mandatory requirement.
- Must have tertiary qualification i.e., bachelor’s degree and/or National Diploma in business administration (highly beneficial).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To analyse and investigate complicated claims to assist in the prevention of fraud.
- To manage the claims intake process for new claims, including gathering information from clients/brokers regarding the nature of the claim.
- To coordinate with Insurers to settle claims.
- To review the applicable documentation to determine and support the claim.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, namely brokers.
- Monitor, measure and control the policy administration processes and procedures in adherence to Company policies and regulations.
- Manage the claims bank account float by making sure top-up is done, as and when required.
- To collaborate with Insurers and research claims to determine if the Company/Insurer is liable in conditions where client/broker seeks compensation/cover.
