JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Attendant Laundry to start working ASAP. Fancourt requires the services of reputable Attendant Laundry. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 10 or equivalent
- Must have general cleaning knowledge.
- Having Stock / stores experience would be advantageous
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have driven and passion for the industry
- Must have ability to maintain the Leading Hotel of the Worlds standards.
- Must be physically fit to carry heavy objects
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To clean, service and maintain the laundry
- To turn mattresses, carrying extra bed and cots
- To supply fire wood to rooms, stack and light fires
- To remove and empty large rubbish bins
- To deliver bulk supplies to rooms
- To assist in cleaning hard-to-reach areas
- To clean the assigned rooms and all their fittings, fixtures and furniture
- To report and follow-up maintenance problems with the Housekeeper
- To keep the workplace, storerooms and surrounding areas clean and tidy at all times.
