JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Barman to start working ASAP. Fancourt requires the services of reputable Barman. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have grade 12 or equivalent,
- Must have 2 years’ experience as a Barhand in a 4* or 5* establishment and with a sound knowledge of cocktails and liquors,
- Having bar skills training and a working knowledge of Micros will be an added advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have excellent communication skills,
- Must have good listening skills,
- Must be able to read and understand basic English,
- Must also be well organised,
- Must be able to cope under pressure,
- Must be able to upsell and do basic calculations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To make and serve drinks, especially cocktails
- To daily stock take and ensure effective stock rotation
- To maintain cleanliness of bar area, including garbage separation,
- To ensure accurate billing and cash-up.
