JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Cashier to start working ASAP. TWK Agri requires the services of reputable Cashier. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric / Grade 12
- Must be computer literate.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have previous cashier experience
- Must have ability to work with money
- Must have ability to work with customers
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To bag, box, wrap merchandise and prepare packages for shipment
- To compute and record transactions
- To count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
- To sort, count and wrap notes and coins
- To establish or identify prices of goods and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers or optical scanners
- To greet customers entering establishments
- To issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
- To keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions
- To receive payment by cash or card
- To maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- To stock shelves and mark prices on shelves and items.
