JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Clinic Receptionist to start working ASAP. Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited requires the services of reputable Clinic Receptionist. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12.
- Must have a minimum of 6 months’ cleaning experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have ability to work under pressure
- Must have deadline driven
- Must have ability to follow and give oral and written instructions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To ensure patient information is correct.
- To process medical aid payments.
- To move patients through appoints as scheduled.
- To obtain medical reports if required.
- To ensure the reception area is clean and maintained to safeguard the patient’s privacy and confidentiality.
- To answer all incoming calls within a reasonable time according to Dis-Chem standards.
- To use proper telephone etiquette when speaking with patients over the phone.
- To give relevant and accurate information to callers regarding their requests, questions or concerns.
- To ensure to take down caller details on all calls that come through to the switchboard for the third time, and email the relevant staff.
- To ensure you are taking the correct message from the callers – repeat the message to the caller for confirmation.
- To take extra care when taking caller contact details – repeat the details to the caller for confirmation.
- To ask the caller adequate question to ensure the correct message is transferred.
- To ensure that messages or calls get transferred to the correct person at all times.
- To assist walk-in guests in reaching staff for in regards to meetings and/ or deliveries.
- To provide customers with area codes, work telephone numbers and other relevant information when requested.
- To ensure customers, guest and callers receive relevant feedback, within good time, regarding queries.
