JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Close Protection Officers to start working ASAP. Fidelity Services Group requires the services of reputable Close Protection Officers. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have valid PSIRA registration at either Grade A or B.
- Must have demonstrable experience as a Close Protection Officer or in a related security role.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have ossession of a valid driver’s license and proficient driving skills.
- Must have proven track record of effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong understanding of security procedures and threat assessment techniques.
- Must have ability to operate firearms, specifically handguns, in compliance with South African regulations.
- Must have adept problem-solving skills, demonstrating calmness and decisiveness in high-stress situations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats to clients and implement appropriate protection strategies.
- To develop and maintain comprehensive security plans tailored to individual client needs.
- To utilize your business-purpose firearm competencies, particularly with handguns, in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
- Monitor client activities and surroundings to prevent and respond to security incidents.
- To collaborate with other security personnel and law enforcement agencies as required.
- To execute security protocols during transportation, ensuring safe travel routes and effective emergency response plans.
- To maintain detailed records of security operations, incidents, and client interactions.
- To provide frontline support in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism and composure.
