JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Driver to start working ASAP. Faircape requires the services of reputable Driver. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have valid South African Code 10 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must have Valid PDP.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have excellent driving ability and knowledge of road safety regulations
- Must have good knowledge of routes within the Southern Suburbs and surrounding areas
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be Patient, caring, and service-oriented approach
- Must have ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must have good time management and reliability
- Must have basic administrative and record-keeping skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To safely transport residents to and from appointments, shopping centres, outings, and other destinations as required
- To transport staff between Faircape facilities and operational sites when needed
- To assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle where necessary, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
- To maintain punctuality and professionalism while adhering to scheduled transport requirements
- To communicate effectively with management regarding schedules, delays, or operational concerns
- To conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness
- To ensure vehicles are fuelled, serviced, and maintained according to company procedures
- To report any accidents, incidents, vehicle defects, or maintenance requirements immediately
- To ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company driving policies
- To complete trip logs, mileage records, and other required documentation accurately
- To ensure all required licenses and permits remain valid and up to date
- To adhere to company health and safety procedures at all times.
