JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Duty Driver to start working ASAP. Fidelity Services Group requires the services of reputable Duty Driver. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have a minimum 2 years experience in the Security Industry
- Being PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification will be an advantage
- Must have valid driver’s license – code 8 (minimum) and a valid PDP
- Must have at least 2 years’ driving experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be South African citizen
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be able to work at night
- Must be prepared to drive in high-risk areas
- Must be fluent in the English language – speak / write / understand
- Must be neat and presentable
- Must have clear criminal record
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To transport employees
- To ensure parking of company vehicles
- To report all delays to the Operations Manager immediately
- To ensure incident prevention and reporting
- To maintain radio contact with controllers
- To take preventive action towards any suspicious activity
- To conduct vehicle audit and complete checklist
- To drive vehicle responsibly and complete documentation of accidents/ incidents
