JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified General Worker to start working ASAP. VKB Group requires the services of reputable General Worker. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12 or NQF4
- Must have minimum of 3+months of experience as a butcher..
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be proficient in meat cutting techniques, knife handling, and customer service.
- Must have attention to detail
- Must be diligent
- Must be problem solver
- Must be thorough, precise and accurate.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To ensure cutting and Preparing of Meat:
- To provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections, answering questions, and offering cooking tips.
- To monitor stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring freshness.
- To keep workstations, equipment, and display cases clean and sanitized.
- To ensure proper pricing and labelling of meat products.
- To ensure food safety regulations and health standards.
- Follow strict hygiene and food safety standards..
