JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified General Worker to start working ASAP. TWK Agri requires the services of reputable General Worker. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade12/NQF4
- Must have Valid Driver’s License
- Must have Tractor driving experience
- Must have previous experience in manual labour
- Must have basic knowledge of irrigation systems, repairs, and garden equipment
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have ability to handle and apply chemicals safely
- Must be physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must have strong problem-solving and practical repair skills
- Must have willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- Cutting grass and maintaining all lawn and garden areas
- Cleaning and tidying gardens, pathways, and work areas
- Spraying herbicides, pesticides, or other chemicals safely and correctly
- Repairing and maintaining pipes, irrigation systems, tables, nets, and general infrastructure
- Operating and driving a tractor and other basic maintenance equipment
- Loading and offloading trucks and assisting with material handling
- Performing general maintenance and upkeep tasks as directed
- Ensuring tools and equipment are cleaned, stored, and used responsibly.
