JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified General Worker to start working ASAP. VKB Group requires the services of reputable General Worker. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric or Senior Certificate
- Must have Code EB drivers licence.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be able to perform hard manual labour, including but not limited to moving of heavy equipment
- Having previous experience in a tractor workshop environment will be a definite advantage
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To ensure general tidiness
- To perform cleaning duties
- To assist customers/suppliers with loading and offloading of stock as required according to policies and procedures
- To ensure general housekeeping of premises and building
- To do workshop related duties including but not limited to assisting the workshop mechanic with any tasks as required
- To assist workshop mechanics and technicians with day-to-day repair and maintenance tasks.
- Hand tools, parts, and materials to mechanics during repair and assembly operations.
