JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Hostess to start working ASAP. Fedics requires the services of reputable Hostess. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12
- Must be able to work quickly and safely.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have excellent communication and people skills
- Friendly, compassionate, and patient nature
- Must have ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment
- Must have strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To welcome residents warmly as they arrive for meals
- To assist residents to their tables and provide support where needed
- To prepare dining areas before service (lay tables, ensure cleanliness, set up beverages)
- To serve drinks, assist with meal service, and respond to resident requests
- To maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation in dining areas
- To communicate resident needs or concerns to the catering and care teams
- To build positive, caring relationships with residents to enhance their dining experience.
