JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Hotel Security Officer to start working ASAP. Fidelity Services Group requires the services of reputable Hotel Security Officer. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric / National Senior Certificate
- Must have aleast 3 Years experience in Hospitality Security
- Must have valid Psira certificate (A-C)
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To patrol hotel premises and monitor security systems to identify and address potential safety hazards or security breaches
- To act as a visible deterrent to potential threats by maintaining a professional and alert presence at all times
- To monitor guest and staff behavior to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
- To respond to and investigate all security incidents, including disturbances, thefts, and medical emergencies
- To coordinate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
- To provide excellent customer service to guests and assist with their needs or concerns as necessary
- To complete detailed reports of all security incidents and maintain accurate records of security activities.
