JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Petroleum Tanker Driver to start working ASAP. Unitrans requires the services of reputable Petroleum Tanker Driver. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 10 / Matric / NQF level 2
- Must have driver’s licence Code EC PrDP.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have as a petroleum driver at least 3 years’ experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To prepare vehicles for a trip
- To operate ultra heavy duty vehicles
- To perform vehicle inspection before and after the trip
- To handle documentation from dispatch to the customer and back to the distribution centre
- Takes full responsibility for the roadworthiness of the vehicle when leaving the depot
- Prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Account for all the goods that are being transported to the customer
- To follow all other reasonable instructions from supervisor.
