JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Picker/Packer to start working ASAP. Servest requires the services of reputable Picker/Packer. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12 / Matric
- Must have valid Reach truck and forklift licences
- Must have previous warehouse experience
- Must have knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be willing to work overtime when required
- Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To pick stock, using Granite scanners, to hand over to dispatch
- To receive Stock Receiving Controller/Assistant stacks to designated locations
- To locate and move stock to pallets for storage
- To identify damaged and expired stock and brings to attention of Warehouse Manager
- To do daily checklist on the reach truck and files in the form available and advises warehouse manager of any machinery defects.
- To do put away of stock within the warehouse
- To part takes in the monthly stock counts as well as cycle counts.
- To ensure a safe, orderly and clean working environment within the warehouse.
- To follow all safety and operational guidelines
- To assist with the loading and unloading of goods as needed.
