JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Reaction Officer to start working ASAP. Tsebo Solutions Group requires the services of reputable Reaction Officer. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12 or Grade 10 and 11 with more than 2 years’ experience
- Must have PSIRA Grade A and Grade B certificate
- Must have armed response certificate
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have Firearm Competency
- Must have Valid driver’s license
- Must have excellent report writing skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To protect employees of the customer, visitors, buildings and Movable Assets
- To conduct regular patrolling of property
- To monitor surveillance equipment
- To inspect the plant, buildings and movable equipment
- To control access points, permitting entrance and egress
- To use sounding alarms and other related devices to mobilize for assistance when it is essential
- To report irregularities, inform violators of policy and procedures and restraining trespassers
- To control traffic by directing drivers
- To complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities, interviewing witnesses and obtaining signatures
- To ensure that the equipment under own use is in a working condition through preventative maintenance
- To ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
- To provide excellent customer service
- To adhere to all company service and operating standards
- To remain in compliance with local, provincial and national government regulations
- To respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
- To protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
- To follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations
