JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Receiving Assistant to start working ASAP. Food Lover’s requires the services of reputable Receiving Assistant. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric
- Must have experience as General Assistant, General Clerk, Receiving Assistant, Receiving Clerk
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must live within 10km from job
- Must have clear criminal record.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To ensure that quantities are correct by matching the physical quantities offloaded with the quantity on the delivery documentation and the quantity ordered.
- To visually inspect delivered goods for damages and correctness.
- Conducting relevant Food Safety Temperature Checks as per the FSMS in the case of refrigerated deliveries.
- To report any discrepancies
- To keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- To communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
- To follow quality service standards and comply with procedure, rules, and regulations.
- To handle heavy lifting, moving products as needed.
- To build and maintain product knowledge to assist with accurate picking and packing.
- To keep track of inventory and report any shortages or damages.
- To operate a scanner to track and record inventory movements.
