JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Reliever Security Officer to start working ASAP. TSU requires the services of reputable Reliever Security Officer. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade C – Psira registered and up to date
- Must have Grade 12.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have ability to be on your feet whole day
- Good interpersonal skills are important
- Suitable candidates must pass all recruitment checks – aptitude test, interviews, background checks etc.
- Must reside in or around the following areas for staff transport – Eersteriver, Delft, Wesbank, Blue Downs or Mitchell’s Plain.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- To monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- To remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- To secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
- To check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
- To investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- To respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- To provide assistance to people in need
- To apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities
- To submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
