JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Roller Floor Attendant to start working ASAP. Pepsico requires the services of reputable Roller Floor Attendant. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12
- Must have one-year relevant experience in Milling/Production environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have Health and Safety standards
- Must have Computer Literacy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To monitor roller mills, feeders and conveying equipment.
- To ensure proper product flow from rolls to airlifts, monitoring for possible chokes
- To check roll feeds, sifter streams and stock levels regularly
- To report blockages, abnormal noises, vibration, or equipment faults immediately
- To assist the Miller with mill maintenance, and any spout changes required
- To ensure continues housekeeping through cleaning chokes on the ground and maintain a clean work environment.
- To follow HASSAP regulations and maintain food safety standards.
- To follow all plant safety procedures and lockout/tag out requirements.
- To ear PPE at all times
- To report unsafe conditions and near misses
- To participate in safety meetings, department meetings.
