JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Seamstress to start working ASAP. Fancourt requires the services of reputable Seamstress. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 10 or equivalent, coupled with sewing experience and fabric knowledge
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Having experience in a hotel environment will be advantageous.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To alter and repair linen and towels for various departments and guest clothing if requested
- To issue chef uniforms
- To be responsible for the uniform store and monthly stocktake of uniforms
- Responsible for the dispatching of dirty uniforms, and receiving of clean chef uniforms to and from external cleaning suppliers
- Assisting of laundry operations by counting, sorting and packing of dirty rooms linen and towels on a daily basis.
