JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Security Manager to start working ASAP. Tsebo Solutions Group requires the services of reputable Security Manager. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification
- Security Management Certificate or Diploma
- Must have PSIRA Grade A certificate
- Must have valid Driver’s license
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have South African security legislation
- Security Operational Processes
- Must have health and Safety legislation
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To develop security procedure to support the security strategy
- To assess security risks and ensure that proportionate measures are in place to protect visitors, staff, buildings, collections, assets and reputation
- To ensure that each layer of security is audited and maintained to an appropriate level
- To encourage a security compliance culture Operational delivery and communication of security policy
- To schedule employees according to contract requirements
- To ensure that the security team provides guidance and assurance to staff and develops a reputation for operational excellence
- To ensure that operational security decisions are correctly recorded and stored, with due regard to sensitivity and information security
- To review site Emergency response Implement disaster preparedness strategy
- To prepare business continuity plan Ensure optimal workforce planning
