JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Security Supervisor Grade A to start working ASAP. Servest requires the services of reputable Security Supervisor Grade A. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric / Grade 12
- Must have PSIRA Grade A Certificate
- Must be registered with PSIRA as a security officer.
- Grade 10/11 report with minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Must have 3 Firearm competencies ( Business Purpose) Rifle ,Shotgun & Handgun
- Must have 3–5 years in the security industry
- Must have 2+ years in a supervisory/leadership role
- Must have experience in industrial/mining/corporate environments.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have no criminal record (clear fingerprint clearance from SAPS).
- Must have armed reaction course
- Must have valid driver’s licence (Code 8/B or higher) more than 2 years
- Must have medical fitness certificate
- Must reside in Secunda.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- Supervising all staff members on duty.
- To ensure that the site is covered at all times. Control of leave planners and attending to all personnel queries.
- To ensure that Risk Assessments & SPM’s are up to date at all times.
- To manage the posting of staff members to their posts.
- To identify, manage, and mitigate all potential risks.
- To manage all risks which could negatively affect the service delivery to clients.
- To report all risks relating to service delivery to your Line Manger.
- The handling and management of daily parades and all safety.
- To ensure that all relevant documentation is available at all posts (Site File).
- To inspect all fences and gates during the shift and report any deviations found
- To maintain Service Provider personnel discipline.
