JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Sushi Chef to start working ASAP. Empact Group requires the services of reputable Sushi Chef. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have relevant tertiary qualification in food and beverage services or culinary arts
- Must have minimum 5 years’ experience of progressive culinary/kitchen management
- Must have proven experience as a Sushi Chef.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have knowledge of the catering environment ranging from fine dining to restaurant dining
- Must have knowledge of South African and industry-specific law
- Must have strong financial acumen, proven budgetary and food control practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To develop and plan menus
- To establish recipes and food purchase specifications
- To coordinate, execute, supervise, and evaluate all food production activities of a fast-paced operation
- To assist in the management of the strategic and day to day operations of the operation.
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
