JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Waiter/Barman to start working ASAP. Faircape requires the services of reputable Waiter/Barman. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have proven experience as Waiter and Bartender
- Having barista experience would be advantageous
- Must have knowledge of serving etiquette and basic wine knowledge.

- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency
- Must have ability to provide outstanding service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Must have capability to work effectively within a team to achieve common goals and ensure seamless service
- Focuses on achieving excellence and maintaining high-quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- Changing table linen as required and ensuring dirty or damaged linen is counted and exchanged for clean, usable items.
- Cleaning and refilling cruet and condiment sets.
- Setting tables to laid-down standards, ensuring that all items used are clean, undamaged and in a good state of repair.
- To maintain designated areas to meet required hygiene standards
- Serving food and beverages in accordance with laid-down standards, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Practicing excellent customer relations at all times, accommodating resident needs without inconveniencing other guests.
- Handling customer complaints effectively and reporting all complaints to the manager.
- Assisting with daily, weekly and monthly stock audits, reporting variances or breakages to your manager.
- To restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Ensuring accurate billing of orders and reporting any errors to the manager.
- Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Be willing to assist outside of normal working hours with private events as required.
- Preparation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- To provide full wine service.
